$1,500 Federal Tax Credit The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 signed into law on February 17, 2009, includes a 30% consumer tax credit (up to $1,500) for the purchase of any 75%+ efficient bio-mass burning stoves (i.e. wood and pellets) for the 2009 taxable year and again in 2010.
